You run an audit, you get a score, and then the score lives inside your account where only you can see it. That always felt like a missed opportunity. If your site scores well, you should be able to show it off, the same way sites show off an uptime badge or a security seal. So we built one.
Every completed audit now comes with an embeddable score badge: a small, self-contained image you can paste into your site's footer, a docs page, a client report, or anywhere else you'd put a credential. It shows your score, it links back to your shared report, and it keeps everything else private.
Grab it in two clicks
Open any completed audit and you'll see a new Embed badge button in the actions row, next to Re-audit and Export PDF. Click it and you get a live preview plus a ready-to-paste snippet.
Pick HTML or Markdown, choose light or dark to match wherever it's going, and hit Copy code. Paste it in, and you're done. There's nothing to install, no script to load, and no account needed on the other end: the badge is a plain image wrapped in a normal link.
What the badge shows
The badge is a clean little pill: the AuditZap mark on the left, your overall score on the right, colour-coded so it reads at a glance. Green for a strong score, amber for middling, red when there's work to do. It comes in a light and a dark version so it sits properly on any background.
Click it and it opens your shared report: the same public, read-only view you already get when you share an audit with a client or teammate.
Only your score, never your issues
This is the part we care about most. The badge shows your overall score and nothing else. It never renders your URL, your issue list, or any per-check detail, so there's nothing sensitive to leak on a page you don't control. The report it links to is the same one you'd share deliberately, and your private issue list stays exactly that: private.
A couple of practical notes. The badge reflects the score of that specific audit, so it's a snapshot in time; re-audit your site and you'll get a fresh badge to swap in. And because it's just an image at a stable URL, it loads fast and can't slow your page down.
